Boston, Jeffrey A. Bloom, Esq., has been named Partner at Margolis & Associates, effective January 1, 2006.
Attorney Bloom came to Margolis & Associates in 1996, where he started as a law clerk while still attending Suffolk Law School. Bloom became an associate upon graduating in 1998 and has developed a practice focusing on estate planning, elder law and special needs planning.
‘I came to Margolis & Associates initially because of its stellar reputation. It has been a very
rewarding experience working with a dedicated staff and trying to help families navigate their way through many complicated and stressful situations’ said Bloom. ‘I really get personally involved in each case and it stays interesting because no two families are the same.’
Associates at Margolis & Associates say Bloom takes a kinder step towards his clients and really tries to be ‘on their side’ as well as being their lawyer.
‘Jeff Bloom has developed into a first rate attorney for our clients and has played a pivotal role in the development of the firm,’ said Margolis & Associates Managing Attorney, Harry S. Margolis. ‘I am delighted that he will now be a firm partner’.
Attorney Bloom meets clients in both the firm's Framingham and Boston offices. He is a frequent lecturer and has appeared as a guest expert on elder and disability law on television and radio shows.
Attorney Bloom has served as an ombudsman for the Executive Office of Elder Affairs. He has also served on an Advisory Board of Health Law Advocates.
He is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and the Massachusetts Bar Association.
Attorney Bloom received his B.A. in Economics from Brandeis University and his J.D. from Suffolk University Law School.
